Module 4: Financial Projections – Setting The Target

The output of this module is for participants to come up with their customized financial projections using the Micropinoy Projection Tool. (Note: MicroPinoy projection tool had been programmed to use flat interest rate, which is no longer allowed by the regulator BSP. This tool may still be used thought but in doing so, experiment with using a lower interest rate.)

Module 5: Cash Flow Analysis

Session 1: Preparing the Client’s Cash Flow
Session 2: HMF Cash Flow

This session guides the participants on how to prepare cash flows and what the basic rules are in preparing a client’s cash flow. Participants will be guided on the step-by-step procedures to filling up the cash flow form, and will be taught how to analyze the debt capacity of a loan applicant.

In the second session, participants are introduced to the HMF MAP Cash flow. In this cash flow, 50% of disposable income is established as the maximum limit for deriving the allowable loan amount for a housing loan if and when the client has an outstanding business loan.

Module 6: HMF Reports

This module introduces the participants to different reporting requirements for Housing Microfinance as well as the timing of reports submission to bank management.
