Introduction:
The course can be conducted either as a straight 3-day training course or as a 2-phase training that divides the training into Phase 1 – Market Research and Phase 2 – Product Designing. Market Research can be conducted for 2.5 to 3 days, which give enough time for the trainees to practice using the tools for market research so that when they go back to their own organization they would have some confidence applying the tools of market research to complete the survey in a pilot branch for their bank.
Participants return to the classroom for Phase 2 of the training course when they will analyze the results of the market research and use the data to design their own micro-agri loan product. Phase 2 could take from 3-4 days as this phase of the training not only drafting a product design but also drafting a MAP loan product manual adapted from a generic manual approved by the BSP.
