The Microfinance Account Officers Training Course is designed as a 4-day course to equip staff with knowledge and skills to implement and manage a microfinance product.

Objectives:

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the role of rural banks as financial intermediaries & microfinance providers

  • Identify the elements that comprise best practices and principles in microfinance
  • Understand the role of character and cash flow analysis in evaluating microfinance loans
  • Properly employ client selection tool
  • Adopt a zero tolerance against delinquency
  • Demonstrate strong sales skills and trouble shooting
